The history of the Pitiusas Islands is represented in the Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera. Its two buildings feature a complete display of the different periods which make up the past of these islands, from the prehistoric period up to the Christian conquest.

One of the museum's sites is in Dalt Vila, the walled area which encloses the part of the town with the greatest number of monuments.

Visiting hours: 16 may-15 october, Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10 am to 2 pm; Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm. 16 october-15 may Tuesdays to Saturdays 9am to 3pm; Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.
