Travel tips
March is the typical month in which people already want to get away, return to the sea, enjoy the sun and explore... Coastal destinations literally shine through summer and begin to see huge numbers of tourists in the high season. For lovers of peace and quiet, exploring what to do in Ibiza in March makes total sense. There are tons of activities to do under the warm sun – honestly, there’s no cold winter here in Ibiza, just a slight drop in temperature.

When planning a trip to the Mediterranean in springtime, you might wonder about the weather in Ibiza in March. On the island, the arrival of spring comes with gradual changes in weather and temperature:

In March, temperatures in Ibiza begin to rise, but you’ll still see ups and downs, ranging from 12°C to 18°C during the day, occasionally reaching 20°C.
In turn, the nights are cool, and although it may  rain intermittently, there’s still plenty to do in Ibiza in March, and it’s less humid than in winter.

It is recommended you carry an umbrella or light raincoat at this time of year, just in case. Additionally, Ibiza is windier in March than in the summer, although we’re not talking extreme winds or natural disasters, merely a breeze on the coast that will merit a jumper.

Get ready to enjoy spring-like weather on your trip to the charming island!
Choosing March to visit Ibiza means you’ll be here at the beginning of the tourist season, getting the best of the island and its charms. Some tourist establishments and services may still be in the process of opening, but the trade-off is that you’ll enjoy fewer crowds compared to the bustling summer months. If you don’t want to be caught out, Invisa Resorts are happy to welcome you well before other hotels have opened.

Furthermore, the arrival of spring brings flowers blooming and blossoming on the trees. You can enjoy a greener and more colourful landscape as the island stretches its arms after a short winter. Marine life is also beginning to become active and easy to see at this time of year.

To make it easier for you to have fun and soak up the local culture, here are activities and events to put in your diary:

Festival of Saint Joseph (Día de Sant Josep)

March 19th is the day of Saint Joseph, the island’s patron saint. There are local celebrations, processions and religious events on this day in honour of Saint Joseph in various places on the island, especially in and around churches and small towns.
