The unmissable Ibiza water parks for all ages

The competition between water parks in Ibiza means high-quality services are always on offer, as well as safety. That does not mean that Ibiza’s water parks are not huge doses of fun, they’re the benchmark in family tourism for a reason.
Below we’ll tell you a little about each park to help you decide which parks (or in what order) you plan to visit during your trip, as well as other water-based fun you can have as a family.
First stop: Aguamar Ibiza Water Park
Aguamar Water Park is the largest water park in Ibiza. It is located in Playa d'en Bossa, which also happens to be one of the most popular tourist areas on the island, so do plan to stay into the evening if your resort is not nearby, to enjoy the entertainment and restaurants of this beautiful coastline. At Aguamar Ibiza the water park has a variety of attractions for all ages, from fast and exciting slides to quieter areas to relax in the pool.
Among the most popular attractions at Aguamar is the Black Hole – a knuckle water chute with twists and turns. In a close second is the Kamikaze – a high-speed slide that descends in a straight line from a height of 18 metres. We can’t not mention the ride called Río Aventura, an attraction that simulates a river with a strong current where you can enjoy the descents on floats.
The park also has a large children's area with swimming pools, slides and water games adapted for the little ones. In addition, the park offers a cafeteria and restaurant service to enjoy a meal or drink between activities. Just like we said, there’s something for everyone so you can spend the whole day at this particular Ibiza water park.
Next Ibiza water park: Sirenis Aquagames
Sirenis Aquagames is another of the most popular water parks Ibiza has to offer, and is located in the Port des Torrent area, on the west coast of the island. You will find a wide variety of attractions for adults and children, together with rest areas for sunbathing or sitting in the shade with a cool drink, watching the pools for anyone above the age of 2.
The largest ride is not as big as Aguamar’s Kamikaze, but funnily enough, it has the same name! This is another high-speed slide that descends in a straight line from a height of 12 metres and holds a torch to Tornado, a funnel-shaped slide at the end of a tube with twists and turns, that drops you into the pool below – refreshing!
Sirenis Aquagames is an excellent option to spend a day with family or friends in Ibiza. Packing your water gun?
3 places to spend the day as a family at smaller Ibiza water parks
Beyond water parks, there are so many activities to do in Ibiza with kids. Here are the ones we prefer if you want to stick with the water theme – and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t?
Ocean Mania: A floating Ibiza water park
Out on the ocean, you’ll find Ocean Mania: an Ibiza San Antonio water park, to the west of the island, entirely made of inflatables. This “park” offers a unique experience in the sea, with a wide variety of floating inflatable attractions for all ages.
Everyone comes off the inflatables smiling which we think is a sign of a wonderful way to spend a day in the sun! Just top up your sun cream in between sessions.
Great Lollipop Park: The sweetest of water parks
The Gran Piruleto water park is also in Playa d'en Bossa, so not far from the Aguamar Ibiza water park. This theme park is full of children's games with water spouts and chutes. We recommend it for celebrating family events like birthdays, because it has a restaurant, bouncy castles and a mini kart track for the non-swimmers. Head over to the sweetest park in Ibiza!
Acrobosc Ibiza: Wooded and refreshing
Although we don’t think Acrobosc qualifies as a water park, it is an adventure park with a zip line circuit that includes some sections over the water. Head over to Santa Eulalia for some fresh air at the forested family park.
The best accommodation for families visiting Ibiza’s water parks
If you’re planning your trip to Ibiza and its water parks as a family, choose your accommodation with care and keeping all your needs in mind. For example, might you need to stay home one full day due to someone’s mood or food preferences, and want to have everything you might need at the resort? Does your hotel have somewhere for kids to enjoy their holiday as much as the adults?
Choose a hotel with services designed specifically for families. At Invisa Hotels we offer you our all-inclusive hotels in Ibiza so you don't have to worry about a thing. All the creature comforts at your fingertips will make for an unforgettable holiday.
Fun in Ibiza knows no age. Join us at the water parks and discover even more venues focused on the little ones. We can’t wait to receive you with open arms!
